- St. Bede School is looking for a Full-Time Middle School Math Teacher beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. The Middle School Math Teacher will instruct grades 5 through 8.
  
  The responsibilities of the Middle School Math Teacher are as follows:
  
  Provide instruction to students in math, pre-algebra, algebra I
  
  Create lesson plans and ensure that educational goals are met
  
  Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
  
  Manage student behavior and enforce discipline when necessary
  
  Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of individual students
  
  Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience
  
  Experience:
  
  Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred
  
  Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies
  
  Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
  
  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  
  Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to effectively manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environmen
  
  Attention to detail in reviewing written materials for accuracy and clarity
  
  Experience working with students in a classroom setting
  
  Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards
  
  Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and ability to teach them effectively
  
  Ability to effectively manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment
  
  Requirements:
  
  A Bachelor Degree in Education with certification in Middle School Math or Secondary Math
  
  All necessary clearances, including those required by the Diocese of Pittsburgh
  
  After School Rocks! Director
  
  St. Bede School is looking for an After School Rocks! Director for the 2023-24 school year. The After School Rocks! program starts at 2:30 PM until 6:00 PM when school is in session.
  
  The responsibilities of the Director are as follow:
  
  General management and close working relationship with the school principal
  
  Administering payments and managing personnel
  
  Administering program objectives and activities
  
  Designating a staff person who is responsible for compliance with the requirements in the director’s absence
  
  Coordinating with planning daily activities with the group supervisors and with assistant group supervisors
  
  Written evaluations of the staff persons every 12 months
  
  Overall planning
  
  Creating and maintaining student files in accordance with state standards
  
  Qualifications:
  
  A bachelor degree from accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human resources field and 1 year of experience working with children
  
  All state and diocesan clearances in place
  
  After School Rocks! Group Supervisor/Assistant Group Supervisor
  
  St. Bede School is looking for an After School Rocks! Group Supervisor and Assistant Group Supervisor. The hours are 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM from Monday through Friday when school is in session.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  Assisting and implementing daily activities under the guidance of the program director
  
  Supervising children at all times
  
  Qualifications:
  
  A bachelor degree from accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human resources field
  
  All state and diocesan requirements in place
